If
you’re looking for thrilling sports action, you’ve come to the right place.
Abraham Baldwin’s athletic facilities rank second to none in the University
System with two gymnasiums, 12 lighted tennis courts, a golf driving range
and putting green, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a weight room, a
half-mile walking track enclosing a multi-purpose athletic field, a baseball
field, volleyball courts, a rodeo arena, a fast-pitch
softball field and the nine-hole
Forest Lakes golf course.
Enjoy top quality
intercollegiate athletics when the Golden Stallions take the field in
baseball, smash overheads in tennis, and boom long drives on the golf course.
The Golden Fillies’ trophy case overflows with unparalleled success in
softball and tennis. The Fillies' soccer team is also making a name for itself.
Five national championships highlight ABAC’s
sports history, and you can bet there are more to come.
In a different arena, complete
with live animals, ABAC competitors face other collegians in rodeo events
such as calf roping and bull riding. The college features the only
intercollegiate rodeo team in the state of Georgia. Out of the saddle, you
might take some time to go fishing in Lake Baldwin.
Maybe you’re not into those
sports but you do like to have some fun with your friends. That’s where
intramurals come into play. You and your friends can form teams in flag
football, basketball, softball, badminton, tennis, billiards, and
volleyball.
At ABAC, you’ll always find a game. Choose up sides and let’s play ball.
